Unfortunatly I can only guess what is causing the crashes on shutdown, but try checking for some unneeded plugins in Program Files\Internet Explorer\Plugins and Windows\Downloaded Program Files Reinstalling would be the easiest fix, but unfortunatly because internet explorer is integrated with windows you would have to reinstall windows as well. This is one of the reasons that I started using other browsers as they are much simpler to fix. |

(ii) Double-click Add/Remove Programs. (iii) Select 'Internet Explorer Error Reporting'. Click Add/Remove. (iv) Restart your computer to complete the uninstall. Then, I would then suggest you use Internet Explorer's 'Repair' function, as follows: (i) Go - Start > Run > and type *exactly* the following (maybe copy & paste for convenience) > rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE5Maintenance 'C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE' /g 'C:\WINDOWS\IE Uninstall Log.Txt' (ii) Press Enter > click on 'Repair Internet Explorer' and then follow your on-screen directions. (iii) When prompted to, restart your system. I hope that will fix your problem. e_ |
