15790 2001-07-19 09:02:00 I have an MSI Geforce2pro card with 64MB DDR RAM, on the box it says it runs at 400mhz memory clock and 350mhz RAMDAC, and in the settings for the display, it says 401mhz memory clock and 200mhz core clock, is this right? I'm pretty sure one of those should be 350mhz, almost definately the core clock, am I right? Will this run stabily though? I think the graphics card is running slow or something. Guest (0)
15791 2001-07-19 09:56:00 200mhz sounds about right for the core speed. the 350mhz is the dac(digital to analog converter), which coverts digital images to analog so it can be displayed on your analog monitor.

you can try overclocking the video card. both core and memory speeds can be altered. just do it step by step. dont commit any setting(apply at startup) untill you have tested it and made sure it dosn't lockup. for serious overclocking u may need to upgrade the cooling exspecialy the ram.
