| 15730 | 2001-07-18 11:44:00 | When I go into control panel I get a message - An error has occurred .... C:\windows\system\main.cpl I have reinstalled windows 98 - didn't help. Searched Windows 98 install CD - found the file - replaced it. I can now open the control panel window without an error - but some icons (font) and mouse still give the same error when I try to open. It's a laptop and the external mouse has stopped working. Can anyone help please :-) Shirley |
