It could be a number of things. But first I would check that the Video card and RAM is seated correctly, although I don't think computers beep when the RAM is no seated correctly anymore. If the video card is seated correctly, remove it and check that the gold contacts on it are clean and then reseat it. If you still have no luck, borrow a known working video card from somewhere and put it in your machine. If it works then it's time for you to get a new video card. If it doesn't work then try doing the same thing systematically with the RAM and CPU. If that fails it sounds like your problem could be serious. Take your PC into your nearest PC doctor. |
