16039	2001-07-24 04:11:00	I have a seagate scsi drive in an old p60 machine and its not booting up - just says non-system disk error. When I go into bios all drives are set to none in cmos setup including C. I know the bios settings got mixed up somehow, does this drive have to be list there? and how can I do it as I dont know what the settings are.	Guest (0)
16040	2001-07-24 05:10:00	I'm pretty sure that the computer's BIOS only lists IDE drives that are installed unless you have an onboard SCSI controller. If you have a SCSI controller card then you will have to enter the SCSI card's BIOS and set up the drive there to be bootable etc. The SCSI card should display a keyboard shortcut that you can use to enter its BIOS.... 16041	2001-07-24 06:10:00	My guess would be the boot sequence setting in the bios has been reset, it defaults to A, C. Try changing it to include the SCSI option.	Guest (0)
16042	2001-07-24 06:55:00	Funny thing is there is no option in bios for scsi, only A,C is available, however it used to boot fine, the only thing ive done to it recently was take out the ide cable as it wasn't attatched to anything. when I boot it gets to posting the scsi bios onscreen then it halts with system disk failure.
