| 1276680 | 2012-05-22 02:54:00 | Unfortunately there are heaps of models of Galaxy S. The standard Galaxy S, the i9000, should work on all major NZ networks, as does the i9100 S II and i9300 S III. Some of the smaller-brother models (but still badged Galaxy S) like the M110S, i909 etc, probably won't like XT (or at least, not it's 3G network). | inphinity (7274) | ||
| 1276681 | 2012-05-22 04:26:00 | No. It won't. The i9000 works on 2degrees / Vodafone The i9000T / i9000M works on XT They are not cross-compatible. I blogged about it here: www.c2s.co.nz |

I can get my galaxy S to work on Telecom with a bit of mucking around (I just felt like experimenting so I put my work SIM in it), but only for phone calls and txt, the data drops back to dial-up speeds because it doesn't have the Telecom band required for XT. It'll probably stop when they turn off the CDMA network as well. |
