On TVOne News last night, the reporter was standing in front of a couple of signboards outside the hospital - they do that sort of thing for some reason that escapes me. One sign board was spelled Whanganui, whilst another was spelled Wanganui. Presumably the Hospital Board will update the spelling as each board is replaced. However, as I understand it, the Geographic Board made the spelling optional so maybe the Hospital Board is having a bob each way. |
