1254332 2012-01-15 17:07:00 They are really getting plastered this morning (my time) - this is the third notice to hit my IN-Box in the past two hours. SurferJoe46 (51)
1254333 2012-01-16 22:21:00 I didn't read your subject title correctly and quickly called Christchurch to check how things were to be asked, what shakes.

Then I see you wrote South Shetland, all I saw was South and transposed that into South Island.........

Sitting in Brisbane which is wet and humid but otherwise shake free.

1254335 2012-01-17 00:39:00 Yes looks like the Americans measure earthquakes in Megawatts. They do everything else differant so why not earthquakes. Trev (427)

I think it might be Moment magnitude scale, but you are right, typical of the bloody yanks, they have to reinvent the wheel, and come up with their own name/title for everything :(
