2012-01-13 05:41:00 | No you do not. I'm still waiting for an answer from you about your experience as a prosecutor for example. All you did was to put the onus on me. Perhaps you should read what I actually wrote - I am not providing you with personal information when all you will do is launch ad hominem attacks. My experience as a prosecutor is irrelevant to the argument but as you can never argue your case logically so you resort to trying to find out personal information so you can attack me on that. I don't see anyone else putting their life story on here including you. The case people are trying to put here is that people are responsible for the actions of their race - it is a luducrous proposition and as usual as no one can defend it logicaly, we go on one of these side shows again so you can avoid justifying an argument that is clearly illogical. At the end of the day you don't have any justification for your racist bullshit.

2012-01-13 06:55:00 | www.nzherald.co.nz So here's more disgrace for Rotorua. But this time it's white trash doing the offending, and reported to be a random, unprovoked attack. As it's violence against a person, as opposed to petty theft, shouldn't this story stir greater outrage? Or is outrage dependant on the colour of the culprit? Perhaps what is reported in this story is another, somewhat hidden price of racism. Honky racism perhaps?

2012-01-13 07:13:00 | I always defend my argument - where Cicero just doesn't have one. I always answer questions about my argument as well. I don't answer your personal questions because you specialise in ad hominem attacks (I suspect because you're incapable of defending your position otherwise), so really no point providing you with further ammunicition. Neither I, nor Snorks for that matter, have ever asked for any personal information. The furthest we have gone, is ask you about what kind of prosecution you have done. And your response has always been along the lines of "you are idiots, you don't know what prosecutors do", that is if you bothered to reply at all. You have very often spoken about your experiences as a prosecutor, with victims and offenders. Yet you never once provided any insight other than "I know because I was a prosecutor, you people don't know anything". If you have been kind and civil enough to provide an explanation, do you think I (or anyone else) would push on the point? All that we have ever wanted from you was some insight. I could find hundreds of posts of your and relating to yours in which you ignore or dodge any questions/comments which you don't like. And yet you point this out whenever someone else does it. This isn't limited to your work as a prosecutor. Have you not recently posted (highly suspect) statistics and ignored questions to provide a source other than saying "go find it yourself"? (IIRC) Is this because you have to make things up to defend your position? And have you yourself not resorted to ad hominem attacks when things don't go your way? Can you not see your own hypocrisy?

2012-01-13 07:17:00 | If we take the family instead of race, and one family was causing all of the trouble, wouldn't you say the family was suspect? Yes I have unfortunately come across criminal families and the factors there fall more into a nurture rather than nature category - although one could suspect that genetics could play a part at the level of a family. It is not a strong argument when extrapolating to blaming a race for crime - the family after all grow up together and therefore influence each others criminality. We know that Maori is over represented in crime figures - that is not in dispute. What you suggest though is that all Maori are therefore collectively responsible - this is like suggesting that all Europeans are responsible for what Hitler did. As a Libertarian I believe in individual responsibility, the criminal is responsible for their own actions, not the whole of a race. So taking your theory, you would have to postulate what the mechanism would be for your proposition that all Maori are suspect, for example some genetic link to crime. Part of my work is in the software development lifecycle and we constantlly work under high pressure to deliver. Some of our key people are Maori - very smart and hard working people. Are you seriously suggesting they are suspect because of some criminal activitiy by some losers in Rotorua?

Going into denial and claiming racism helps nobody and only compounds the problem which makes you an "enabler". As long as society refuses to see the elephant in the room then kids will continue to die, be abused, and grow up to wage war on society. |
