When I dug the hole for it I put root blast at the bottom of the hole then used mitre 10 bagged compost to fill the hole around the lemon tree.. If Burt Munro can grow a lemon tree in Invercargill than why can't I. |

Unfortunately, the only place we could put it is where it gets the wind. Can they survive in a windy position once established?. At your latitude I would not expect any citrus to do well even with total wind protection. Maximise its chances and put some shelter netting around it. |
