| 1276207 | 2012-05-19 03:20:00 | Unable to load XP; tried all safe mode options without success. Tried to boot with XP install CD but unable to load without administrator password. Any other way to access the system restore utility? |

| 1276208 | 2012-05-19 03:47:00 | if you can get into safemode with command prompt: Run System Restore in Command Prompt 1. Boot into Safe mode with Command Prompt – Keep Pressing F8 at start-up then with the arrow keys select Safe mode with Command prompt. 2. At the command prompt, type C:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe Press Enter. Follow the instructions given to perform the System Restore process. If you cant, then yes you can run system restore manually from a XP CD, BUT it requires a few DOS commands. It has to be done right other wise it will screw everything: Read These instructions (www.box.com) and follow TO THE LETTER. |
