| 16175 | 2001-07-27 22:18:00 | My old hard drive is running out of available space and I have discovered a number of files to take up quite a bit a room in the root folder . The files are labeled 'File0000.ckk' to 'File000g.chk'. Is it safe to delete these? Are they the result of scandisk converting lost clusters to files? | Guest (0) | ||

They can contain part or all of a file you were working on at the time. You could check them in notepad to see if theres anything you could retrieve but its perfectly safe to delete them. |
