16175 2001-07-27 22:18:00 My old hard drive is running out of available space and I have discovered a number of files to take up quite a bit a room in the root folder . The files are labeled 'File0000.ckk' to 'File000g.chk'. Is it safe to delete these? Are they the result of scandisk converting lost clusters to files? Guest (0)

They can contain part or all of a file you were working on at the time. You could check them in notepad to see if theres anything you could retrieve but its perfectly safe to delete them.
