| 16146 | 2001-07-27 00:36:00 | Things have started to slow right down, some programmes are loading very slowly and sometimes just hang halfway thru . . . . but the scandisc and defrag wont work . . . scandisc tells me to close any programmes that may be running . . . Ctrl-Alt-Del brings up only two things running . . . scan and explorer . . ending the task on explorer just gives me a shutdown or a restart option . Both scan and defrag have been run before succesfully from safe mode - in fact that's the only way I've ever been able to run defrag . No doubt this is a straight forward problem to an i . t . expert which rules me out - any help greatly appreciated - Thanx | Guest (0) | ||
