Nortons picked it up. As a further precaution I downloaded from Symantec the removal tool and did a full scan and have also done a further manual check. According to all these checks the system is clean. When I restart my portable I get a warning message - Cannot find the file '\recycled\SirC32.exe' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available. What am I overlooking to clear this message at startup? |

Remove the line from Autoexec.bat, if present: \recycled\Sirc32.exe Also: 2 good tools to remove SirCam properly (in registry also): www.woram.com and read the ReadMe.txt. And another good cleaner: www.antivirus.com Read the info and then scroll down to 'to remove the Trojan completely.' |
