| 16388 | 2001-08-03 04:12:00 | Whenever i try to use my cd writer now, it keep telling me that 'ASPI for windows failed to initialize'. I'm pretty sure this is software related, but i'm no expert and really need help to solve this problem. Thanx.. |

| 16390 | 2001-08-03 08:13:00 | Upgrading the ASPI drivers seems to fix a lot of these errors, as the drivers shipped with windows are crap. There is a program called ForceASPI around that you should find with a quick search on Google. It is a bit harder to find now as it uses Adaptec's drivers which they don't like, which is why I won't post an actual link here. |
