| 16448 | 2001-08-04 14:04:00 | If I understand your question correctly, you want to use the larger of your hard drives as the c: drive. All you need to do is swap the cables, and jumpers on the drives. If the drives are on the same IDE channel, then just change the jumpers on the drives so the primary one gets set to secondary, and the secondary to primary. If the drives are on seperate channels (seperate cables) just swap the cables around. Then update the BIOS if you need to. You will probably have to install windows on the new c drive as I doubt windows will load from d:. Or course the easy option would be to just to move as much as you can to the bigger drive, in general the only stuff you have to have on the first drive would be windows. |
