| 16586 | 2001-08-06 12:03:00 | Hi all, Anybody using Office 2000 should check in their c:\windows folder for temporary files named 'fffbe289_{F8CCD380-8390-11D5-A12A-8367CC37913E}.tmp' or similar. They always begin with 'fff' and have the .tmp extension. Apparently it's a bug that Microsoft are aware of. See this: support.microsoft.com The annoying thing is that two of these files are created every time you turn your computer on or reset it, and they are not deleted! So they could be steadily accumulating on your machine without you realising it. Cheers, Rod. |
