This is a copy and paste from a Cnet forum. I'm having the same probelem. I hope I can get better help here than this guy did at Cnet. Thanx

I've installed and uninstalled tcp/ip and dialup networking and I've tried inserting the dns address of my isp manually.
This happened after installing windows over it'self, which I've done before without problem.
