| 16773 | 2001-08-10 05:39:00 | How do I install windows 95 on a 486 computer. I have a boot disk but I don't know how to make the machine recognize the cd rom drive so I can run setup from the CD. |

If it is a creative, try: www.creative.com (I couldn't get any further as their form isn't standard compliant, as showen be validator.w3.org) If you can't handle installing the drivers, you should be able to copy the cabs etc off the install cd, onto floppys. Or borrow a new drive for the install, (you will also have to download the win9x drivers for the old drive later). |
