| 16894 | 2001-08-12 11:20:00 | Have you considered not eating at the computer? :-> You should be able to pull off the key and have a go at it, although it may be easier to pull the whole keyboard apart. For the record spraying the keyboard with the hose causes it to stop working, esp if its still plugged in and hanging out the window, argh. |

| 16895 | 2001-08-12 23:00:00 | Hi, Some of the older keyboards ya can pull apart and toss in the shower. Not the new ones with the plastic sheets inside instead of the circutry (sir-kit-tree) board. They dont like it very much, you get a bit of water between the sheets and its hard to dry. Turn it upside down and give it a good few raps on the bottom, quite a bit of crap will fall out, I usually get a smokes worth of tobacco outta mine lol. Ya could get a fine attachment or make one to vacume the keyboard too but a good banging does the trick. Ken. PS: Tumble dryer is no good. |
