| 16889 | 2001-08-13 02:27:00 | You may have a 'noisy' line. Try unplugging all other phones/double adapters in the house. Doing this, and replacing noisy adapters/phones increased my connection speed from ~42k to ~50k and cut down connection retries/ disconnects dramatically. You can also call telecom and ask them to test your line - why do you think you pay that 'line maintenance' on your telephone bill? | Guest (0) | ||
