| 16824 | 2001-08-11 03:19:00 | quite often when I send an email, the people that I send them to get the body(typed) part of the message but don't recieve the attachments. When I go to my sent box, the email shows entirely, with the email as though it has gone, and the email has taken quite a while to send as though it has sent the attachment, but the resipiants don't recieve the attachment. Any hints? | Guest (0) | ||
| 16825 | 2001-08-11 03:36:00 | What e-mail program are you using and how large are the attachments? The server may be blocking the attactments for a number of reasons, eg Too big, or blocking potential viruses. Another problems is e-mail isn't designed to send files, so sending of large attachments will be unreliable. |

| 16826 | 2001-08-11 21:03:00 | Thanks for your hints. I am using Outlook 2000. The problem seems to be intermitent, I can send an email with an attachment to 6 to 10 people, some of them get an attachment and some don't, and then when they tell me they haven't got the attachment and then I send it to them again, then some times it goes through intact. |
