| 16818 | 2001-08-11 02:06:00 | Hi Steve, you can get a good Windows based antivirus program, AVG, for free, from: http://www.grisoft.com There are regular free virus data-base updates with automatic download and installation. If you would be happy with a free DOS based program, then F-prot from www.complex.is, or ftp: They also issue monthly updates. I use both of these as double insurance. The only problem I've found with AVG is that it thinks code in some older DOS utilities are viruses. |
