| 17108 | 2001-08-16 23:46:00 | I have a Compaq 1598DT Laptop. Whenever I try to defrag it all appears to work okay, but it never completes, error messages are 'defrag has restarted many times etc etc'. I have disabled screensaver, hibernation, power saving, task manager, etc etc. with no effect. any suggestions? what about a dos based defragger to get around any windows TSR type programs? |

There is a really good write up somewhere on the F1 pages about dos defrag as well but haven't got time to search for it. | Guest (0) | ||

| 17111 | 2001-08-17 23:57:00 | I used to have so much trouble too, until i downloaded the free defragger at www.powerdefrag.com No problems now, it runs straight through and reboots your system at the end. Hope this helps you. | Guest (0) | ||
