| 17081 | 2001-08-16 07:54:00 | Hi supergran,The desktop Channel bar is available only if you have upgraded from Internet Explorer 4.0 or Windows 98. You will need to first uninstall ie 5.5 ,Then you need to insert win95c disc & go into the folder called win95,Then go to the icon called ie4setup & double click to install ie4,I found standard install is fine. When windows reboots the quick launch toolbar will be installed.Then you upgrade to ie5.5 & quick launch is still there. PS:not sure if this works with versions of 95 earlier than 95c. cheers steve |
