| 17060 | 2001-08-15 21:46:00 | I'm running windows ME on a laptop (Compaq amada E500) and I want to make the start-up Windows splah screen bigger. Is this possible? I have not been able to find any settings for this in the BIOS. At the moment, the splash screen is small and centred but it ocasionally it will appear aa Full-Screen? Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou in advance. |

Seems to be linux compatable too. |

| 17062 | 2001-08-16 14:23:00 | THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU You have solved a problem that many emails and online chats to different help supports could not fix. This has been bugging me for many months because until now it was pushed into the 'too hard basket' by everyone I've asked. So to other users (Amada) who were wondering how to adjust your start up splash screen, just use Fn T (Function key then press the letter T at the same time) to toggle the size. Thanks once again for helping me. Regards Susan. :-) |
