| 17044 | 2001-08-15 07:20:00 | Hi, Zonealarm has changed the exe extension of an email attatchment to .zl9 (mailsafe enabled) So now whenever I try to open the application, it opens as a ZoneAlarm MailSafe VBScript file. How do I change the extension back to exe? Windows ME user. | Guest (0) | ||
| 17045 | 2001-08-15 08:43:00 | Hi I would suggest saving the file to your hard drive (somewhere you will remmember) opening windows explorer, ensuring that file name extensions are visible, clicking the file once, press F2, backspace the 'zl9' out and type 'exe' (without the quote marks of course). Click 'Yes' when you get the warning box about changing file name extensions. Run a virus check on the file before opening it. Matt |
