17011 2001-08-15 04:20:00 While viewing my bootlog i noticed that these two files failed to load:

[0009A9D0] LoadFailed = C:\WINDOWS\CWDINIT.EXE

[0009AA17] LoadFailed = ndis2sup.vxd

Is this a problem and if so how do i fix it?

17012 2001-08-15 04:44:00 ndis2 is one that hasn't loaded on all bootlogs I've seen on heaps of computers.

Nothing to worry about with this one. I have the same thing here.

CWDINIT.EXE doesn't show up on my computer at all.

Assuming your system is working fine I don't believe you have a problem.

As the OLD saying goes....
'If it ain't broke don't fix it.'

17014 2001-08-15 11:39:00 I did a search on google, and I think the file is related to dos sound support. If you want to remove the message in the log, the entry is in your config.sys file, just REM it out. Guest (0)
