17005 2001-08-14 21:49:00 I have just re-installed win 2000 prof. and Office 97. Access denies me access to the program. Message says it is not registered on my machine. I had this problem once before but managed to circumvent it. Not now though. I am the only one using the machine and no, it's not pirated software.
I have used Access for years with 98.
To those who tried to help me with non-operative webcam drivers. I solved the problem by getting a Quickcam. Perfect.

17006 2001-08-17 23:14:00 I had this problem too. You can contact Microsoft for a 'fix' - you have legal software, or you can email me - r.mcgeachie@clear.net.nz

and I can send you the file that I got from Microsoft

17007 2001-08-19 10:26:00 This is a known bug, listed on the Knowledge base. Solution is:

1] temporary rename hatten.ttf (found in c:\windows\fonts)to hatten.xxx

2] Go to Control Panel>Add/remove Programs and from the list choose MSOffice 97, then click Add/Remove... button (you will need Office CD placed in a drive)

3] In the first setup prompt tell to reinstall

4] After setup completes, rename the above mentioned font back to hatten.ttf

That should have fixed the problem.

Cheers
