Turn off your cookies and you will have to remember every login and password to every secure site. Your customised settings on search engines and sites like CNN will be lost. 17029	2001-08-17 05:22:00	I have come to a compromise regarding the blocking of ads, largely due to knowing people who run smaller sites, and need the revenue. I currently let banners load, but any animations are allowed to run once, and I block pop-ups and plugins (eg shockwave). I let in all cookies, but they are deleted when I quit my browser (Opera), which keeps their functionality while also keeping my paranoia happy. Personally I think that it is a reasonable compromise (possibly favoring me a little).	Guest (0)
