17252 2001-08-20 02:00:00 Try this...

1. Go to the Network tab in control panel..Where it says Primary Network Logon
2. Make sure it says Windows Logon instead of Client for Microsoft Networks
3. Then delete your *.pwl files and reboot
4. If you don't enter a password the password box will not come up again.

17254 2001-08-20 04:26:00 On win95 and win98 you can cure this problem by:-
Start, Run. key in 'sysedit'
choose 'system.ini'.
look for 'password lists'
write down(in case you want to re-enter it) then delete the offending line.
exit system.ini and try reloading, probably twice.
I have never tried it in ME.

17255 2001-08-22 12:52:00 Not sure if this will work as its really only of use for networks but worth a try.

If you have Tweak-UI select the Login tab, and add username to 'Login Automatically at Startup'
