17235 2001-08-19 11:36:00 I use the search from the start bar quite often and hate going to the start button, going up, across etc etc. Is there a way of speeding up access to the search screen? If possible I would like to have the option on the taskbar. Guest (0)

17238 2001-08-20 06:09:00 Hello Mike, you can try this method to put a find files icon onto the Quick Launch toolbar;
In Windows Explorer click on tools, then Find, then Files or Folder.
Click File, then Save Search. This will put a shortcut onto your desktop.
Then drag and drop the shortcut onto the Quick Launch toolbar. Then delete the shortcut from the desktop.
