| 17220 | 2001-08-19 09:44:00 | some how this program got into my computer,i didn't knowingly download it.i think it is causing some problem with my system.i deleted it with control panel add/remove,but it seems that part of it remains that i can't get rid of.every so often when i turn the computer on a box appears with a website address to buy the program and other info but not how to get rid of it of course.has anybody else had this happen to them.i ran ad-aware and it didnt pick it up.thanks for any help. | Guest (0) | ||
| 17221 | 2001-08-19 10:31:00 | To stop it from running, run MSCONFIG and deselect it (and anything else you don't need). As for removing it, the startup tab in msconfig will give you a path to where it is hidden. If it is a seperate folder you can delete it, although it wont be a complete uninstall it will disable it. |

| 17222 | 2001-08-21 03:14:00 | i tryed the msconfig thing and couldn't see or find anything relating to it.i am running tiny personal firewall and it tells me that internet relay....is coming from C:/WINDOWS/COMMAND/RUNDLLS.EXE i have tryed to delete this but windows wont let me. |
