| 17425 | 2001-08-23 04:20:00 | I am using window 98 with ZoneAlarm. There is no problem I am just curious about it because every time I connect to internet a small window pops up asking permission for Microsoft qmgr to acess to internet. Thank you. |

Hint: Click Edit / Find and search for qmgr. www.computing.net It seems that it is a mystery file that Microsoft denies knowledge of and it may be linked to the MSN Explorer (not IE) web browser - which I have not downloaded. I checked the loadqm.exe program (8kb)properties in the windows directory, where it says it is a Microsoft Corporation product. I disabled it at start up using msconfig a while ago, but set ZoneAlarm to query it if it raised its head again. So far nothing has stopped working. Anyone else know what it is? Matt |
