| 17417 | 2001-08-22 11:20:00 | For a little more than $1500 you could buy a new PC, although a notebook would set you back a bit more than that. You should be able to pick up something like a Pentium II-733 with a 15' monitor and 10Gb hard disk for around the $1000 mark. I have an AMD750 system with 128Mb SDRAM which I will be selling soon, if you are interested leave a msg. |

| 17418 | 2001-08-22 13:42:00 | I wouldn't recomend buying from a 2nd hand shop. A friend just spend $1200 on a P133 with 16mb of ram, and a winmodem that makes the system crawl when its used. This was from a place that specialises in 2nd hand computers. |

| 17419 | 2001-08-22 14:12:00 | well i think if you for 2nd hand pc, your gonna get ripped off! some 2nd hand places (and people) have no idea of a pc's actual worth. 4 months ago i bought a 800mhz duron, 128mb ram, 15inch monitor for $1650 (nz) ( or $1420 without the windows 98 disk, which i didn't really need.) check around with some computor builders in the 'Trade & Exchange' they have a lot of good deals. shop around!!!!!!!!!!! |
