| 17587 | 2001-08-25 05:45:00 | Hi, Recently the Auto Complete feature in my Internet Explorer stopped working. When typing in a Web Address, it used to pop up with other that might match what I am typing in, but now it doesn't do this. I have checked all the Options in Explorer for auto complete, and it is enabled. Whats going on here??? Maybe I need to edit the registry?? Donald |

Here's a handy method: (i) with your mouse, select & copy the following Command ===== COPY BELOW LINE ======= rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE5Maintenance 'C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE' /g 'C:\WINDOWS\IE Uninstall Log.Txt' ===== COPY ABOVE LINE ======= (ii) Go - Start > Run > click mouse & Paste the above Command > click Okay or press Enter - done, you're there. If your Repair Tool doesn't correct the problem, post back to this Board - a tweak might be required. Cheers!!! e_ |
