| 17523 | 2001-08-24 09:36:00 | Bought a program last week on a single floppy. I want another copy solely for backup/security purposes. Crafty programmer has made original disk able to be copied, but program will not run from subsequent copy. Ideas welcome. Can supply the text of the install bat file on request. | 17524 | 2001-08-26 00:46:00 | Some of those older copy protections are as simple as checking the volume label on the disk. Read the original disk to get the volume label with dir then format the new disk, and when prompted for a label, enter in exactly the same label as is on the original disk.
