| 17502 | 2001-08-24 02:22:00 | I am being bugged by an annoying effect in Word 2000. After using the 'Find' or 'Replace' functions the next page/previous page double arrows turn blue and will only recycle the completed search. Closing the document doesn't clear the effect and I have to exit then restart Word to restore the normal function for these buttons. I first noticed this on an earlier copy of Word 2000 on another computer and wrote it off as a bug in that version, but after buying Office Professional I was dismayed to find that the effect was still there. I can't find anything that will correct this (I hope I haven't overlooked the obvious) and as I use the find/replace functions a lot in my work any advice would be appreciated. Between the two arrows there should be another button with a circle on it. Click it and choose 'Browse by page'. |
