17487 2001-08-23 11:55:00 I have read of a programme that enables the monitor to be instantly cleared of content if one wants to maintain privacy when someone comes into the office.

Trouble is I cannot remember where I saw it!

Any ideas?

17488 2001-08-23 12:48:00 You could use a screen saver, and have a shortcut in your quick launch and/or a keyboard short cut to it.

Just make an ordinary shortcut to the .scr of your choice.

Your not looking at pr0n at work are you ;->.

17491 2001-08-25 04:41:00 Whether you are on a stand-alone PC or on a network I would be far more concerned with what the boss can do about tracking your activities via software etc rather than them physically walking in the room. Remember what you do in work time is not your own. The boss may be a clown but they can easily employ security people to hide tracking software. Check the office policies manual about disclosure if one exists - if not ask. Guest (0)

So many resonses - you must all get off on the thought of Porn!!!

Butt despite the humour, my need is genuine, is related to working in an environment where I have no Privacy at all, yet often have info up on the screen which is sensitive to my boss's needs. AND ISN'T PORN YOU GRUBBY BUGGERS!!!!!!

I'm supposed to have some quickkey functions that I have never been able to get to work, but your collecti9ve ideas should assist.
