Hi, i've been having a couple of crash problems but after the last reboot none of the files and many of the folders in my docs aren't showing. I know they are there as I can still open them with excel or whatever. How do i get them back in explorer? Ta for any help (i'm guessing this is a stupid easy one) |

Try running chkdsk that may fix the problem. |

Beyond rebooting, did you try anything else to fix your PC, like reinstalling Windows?
I'd strongly suggest using a USB thumb drives to backup critical files. Just plug in thumb drive, create a folder with today's date, and drag-and-drop folders onto this folder. |
