How do You know which one applies??? Guest (0)

17742 2001-08-28 09:57:00 I used Ask Jeeves search engine for a list of file extensions. One site it found and I had a look at was http://extsearch.com This site claims to have over 1600 file extensions listed. Ask Jeeves gave a fair number of results that should help you. Guest (0)
17743 2001-08-28 10:01:00 Hi there

PPS is a Power Point Slide Show. If you don't have Powerpoint (comes with Microsoft Office) you can get a viewer from Microsoft at:

www.microsoft.com

Here is one web site with file extensions listed alphabetically:

camalott.com

17747 2001-08-29 00:51:00 ... forgot to mention... When you have the appropriate program to run the applicable file Windows will normally automatically utilise the correct application. When a file extension hasn't been associated with an appropriate program it's then that you need to determine whether another existing application would suffice. Usually not. Guest (0)
