17712 2001-08-28 02:13:00 I've just installed a new network card. It booted up ok, then installed the drivers off the windows 98 se cd.
now when i boot up it runs as normal until the w98 screen comes up. THEN IT STOPS FOR ABOUT 25 SECS!!!!!!
after that it continues to load up desktop as usual???
Is this problem to do with the new network card or is something wrong????

The delay is it waiting to get one assigned to it.

17714 2001-08-28 08:36:00 It will also take time if you have it set to reconnect to any mapped drives at log on.

Here are some helpful sites
