| 17726 | 2001-08-28 04:22:00 | In my quality system I have the file path of the document in the footer. I then often send reports by email to others and password protect the document so that its contents cannot be changed. However when they put the document on their computer the file path footer reverts to its new location even though the remainder of the document is password protected. Is there a way to lock this original file path when its location changes? Any help appreciated |

So the file is not actually being changed because this 'field' is just like a pointer to the current address. If you want to put a file address into the document permanently you will have to type it in manually. | Guest (0) | ||
