| 17877 | 2001-08-31 05:23:00 | I have a celeron 400 with an asus me-99b motherboard. I have done a clean install with win98se. On shutdown it hangs on the screen windows is shutting down. After 55 seconds the monitor switches off but the cpu keeps going. After turning off and restarting it goes through the normal bootup process. It does not do a scan disk which I would have expected. So my question is how do I get the cpu to shutdown automatically as it should. Will the shutdown patch work? |
