| 17846 | 2001-08-30 08:41:00 | How can I save a current desktop background/wallaper? It was set as wallaper without saving it from where it was available and now have no idea of the site or name/title and want to keep it.If I change it I will loose this particular one that is well worth keeping even though i like changing them from time to time. Hoping someone has the answer. Thanks. |

| 17847 | 2001-08-30 09:03:00 | ...i suspect the 'wallpaper' you wish to keep is already on your system as an HTML Document - from when it was originally downloaded/saved. Have a quick look in the following: Open Windows Explorer and drill down to Windows/Web/Wallpaper. Cheers!!! e_ |

| 17848 | 2001-08-30 09:05:00 | Hello Barry, The wallpaper you are looking for is almost certainly stored in your C:\windows\application data\microsoft\internet\ folder, to make sure you save the right .BMP file (there could be a number, if you are in a habit of saving wallpapers off the net)go to start, find, files or folders, search for win.ini, double click to view this file, under the heading 'Desktop' you should see the exact location and number of your wallpaper .BMP file.
