| 17793 | 2001-08-29 09:01:00 | I did a look around the local sites. Your best bet will be to find an OEM copy of 98SE, but you will have to buy some hardware with it (RAM upgrade?). Ascent (www.ascent.co.nz) list it but others probably will. It will be very hard to find non OEM copy, its microsofts way of encouraging people to get their latest attempt at an OS. DSE is selling the full version of ME for $507!!!. Their not doing much to discourage piracy are they. PS Linux is free and runs better on old hardware. |
