| 18097 | 2001-09-03 09:04:00 | I have had problems opening the zip files from the pc world cd-rom. When i try to open them they open in microsfoft imaging ( i am running win 98) i have tried changing the location and the programe to open the files with under 'properties' but have not had any luck. any help would be appreciated. cheers |

| 18098 | 2001-09-03 11:40:00 | it sounds like you are having a problem with file association. Go to View / folder options and file types tab. scroll down the list and click once on winzip file. Under actions highlight open with and select edit. You can then browse and locate the winzip.exe and hopefully things should be sorted. | Guest (0) | ||
| 18099 | 2001-09-03 11:41:00 | Assuming you have a program that can open zips (winzip, powerarchiver etc), hold down shift and right click the file. Then choose Open With, scroll down to find the program, eg winzip, then tick 'Always use this program...' and hit OK. | Guest (0) | ||
