18064 2001-09-03 02:40:00 Hey, I just would like to know if anyone knows how to enable 'AGP texture accelaration' in the DirectX 8 diagnosis program. The box is 'greyed out' and it gives me a 'not available' message. I find this strange since I have a AGP video card. GeForce2 GTS/Pro 64MB. My motherboard is an ASUS A7M266 running a 1.2GHz Athlon with 128MB DDR RAM. Win2k. I would really like to resolve this becuase enabling this feature improves 3dgraphics framerates. HELLPPPP!!! 18065 2001-09-03 08:11:00 Hi Logan, If the option is greyed out there is a good possibility your graphics card or it's driver does not support it. Go to Google and search for 'agp texture acceleration' and read some of the comments, if you include the '' you will get 89 comments if you leave them out you will get about 9000, so I would leave them in. good luck PC. 18066 2001-09-04 11:18:00 Hi Logan, that is a dam good motherboard you have there.

Anyway I would be trying the new 4 in 1 drivers from Via for the AMD platform for this problem.

Head over to www.via.com.tw to download the new motherboard drivers.

To read up on the necesarys here browse to www.via.com.tw
