| 18000 | 2001-09-02 03:46:00 | An associate has a problem with the above. When typing in adresses if they go www 'a' (or any other letter of the alphabet) the drop down menu pops up with lists of web addresses (mostly objectionable)The internet history setting is set at 0 days, and they dont appear on the home page history display. Clearing the windows temp files removes them until the next time the machine is restarted. Norton does not detect any virus. Is there a simple cure or chould we reformat the 'c' drive |

| 18001 | 2001-09-02 03:58:00 | ...try: Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > General tab > click 'Clear History' > click 'Yes' [in response to prompt box] > click Apply/Okay. That should remove the annoyance. Cheers!!! e_ |

| 18003 | 2001-09-03 04:36:00 | Hi. It's not a bad idea to go in IE: Tools, Internet Options, Settings, View Files, then manually delete all files that are shown by highlighting them and press Delete. | Guest (0) | ||
