| 17996 | 2001-09-02 03:41:00 | Could you please help me. I am having a lot of trouble trying to find information about Threads, Queues, Priority and Scheduling. This is part of a assesment for an IT course. If possible could you inform me on these things or at less give me some ideas of where I can get some information on these. | 17998 | 2001-09-02 04:23:00 | I did that last semester for my CS course. The textbook we used was: Operating System Concepts Fifth Edition Silberschatz & Galvin. You may be able to find in in a libary as it set me back $115. It covers everything you need. I dont know of any particular sites but i did find the following: www.oreilly.com www-scf.usc.edu osr5doc.sco.com:457 But I haven't read them. If you don't anything about Threads, Queues, Priority and Scheduling I can post quick descriptions of them for you. |
